Reaching Higher with Our Diversity Goals
We launched the second set of our three-year diversity goals in 2014, which took us through the end of 2017. We set our goals across eight categories, looking to increase the number of women and employees of color across the AVP, VP, SVP and EVP levels.
Gauging Our Progress
We’re pleased that we made substantial progress in each of the eight categories, achieving or exceeding five of our eight goals. In the categories where we didn’t meet our goals, we fell short by only a few points. But we know we can do better.
Picking up the Pace
This year, we’ve set both three- and five-year goals that are helping us reach further toward increasing the number of women and employees of color in management roles. We'll review progress annually, and measure formally at the three- and five-year marks.
In addition to setting bold targets, we’re also expanding the categories we’re measuring.
We’ll look to further diversify our workforce by including self-identifying LGBTQ employees, persons with disabilities and Military veterans in our measures of inclusion and diversity. We’ll also tighten our Supplier Diversity goals.
